Gedling railway station was a station on the Great Northern Railway's original route between Nottingham London Road and Derby Friargate, England. A more direct route became available via Victoria station when the Great Central Railway opened through Nottingham in 1900 but the line remained important as a freight route. The station is now closed although the track is still in situ as a disused industrial branch line.[1]
